There are thousands of hotels in the country of Greece. There are at least 50 hotels in each city and that is Greece is a tourist country. Some cities are more popular than others but in any city it will be a difficult decision on which hotel to stay at. Here are two of the finest hotels, on in the most popular tourist city, Athens and the other is located in a popular tourist city called Corfu.
The Electra Palace, this gorgeous hotel is located in the Plaka District of Athens. This hotel is situated on an intensely quiet street just three blocks from the National Gardens. The Syntagma Square and the Parliament building are just 500 meters away. Also near the hotel is the historically famous Acropolis and the Herodus Atticus Theatre, just one kilometer away. Less than two kilometers is Kalimarmaro which is the Old Olympic Stadium.
The Electra Palace Hotel’s 24 hours a day and they provide a currency exchanging service at the front desk, so you don’t to go to the bank. They offer complimentary buffet breakfasts every single morning. The hotel has a great restaurant called Motivo this restaurant over looks a small garden and terrace. They have Mediterranean meals and fine Greek wine. You can sit in the Garden Terrace in the summer months.
There is a bar called the Duck Tail Bar and they serve drinks as well as sandwiches, they hotel has a fitness center with a full working spa, an indoor pool, a jetted tub, a sauna and a steam room. There are three meeting rooms and a banquet hall. Wireless Internet is available in the hotel itself.
The hotel houses 150 rooms, all of the rooms have hardwood floors and carpets. The rooms have a in the room safe for your valuables and high speed internet connection. Minibars can be provided for an additional cost. Certain rooms have balconies and the upper level rooms have a great view of the Acropolis.
The Bella Vista Hotel is located in Corfu, just 200 meters from the Benitses Springs. The hotel has a white and pink villa style. This quaint but gorgeous hotel has just 23 rooms. Each room has a light, bright décor that appears in very fun and cheery colors. All the rooms open out onto a balcony with a great view. All rooms have satellite TV, phones and minibars.
Each guest staying at the Bella Vista receives a buffet breakfast every morning or if you are looking for something more you can dine in at the Bella Café which serves light snacks and authentic Greek Specialties throughout the entire day. The café is also very light and has a relaxed vacation ambiance.
They do have a bar on premise and the staff is multilingual. The front desk is open 24 hours a day and if you are looking for somewhere to go they can help you. The rooms have an Internet access fee and nearby parking. There is a limited room service, where you can order snacks.
